近日，一段视频在社交媒体上广泛传播，视频中显示槟州第二副首长佳日星与数名树木修建工人发生激烈口头争执。视频中的一名工人愤怒地大喊：“我们不是狗，我们是人！（kita bukan anjing, kita manusia）”，引发了广泛关注。
该视频由Veinusdailynews在TikTok平台发布，虽然视频并未清晰显示双方争执的具体对话内容，但从部分可听的对话中，可以听到佳日星怒斥工人“bodoh betul”（真笨）和“stupid”。而工人则反击道：“you lah biadap”（你才无礼）及“我们不是狗，我们是人！”

据了解，槟岛市政厅此前在面子书上宣布，将于12月1日至7日期间，在丹绒武雅至峇都丁宜一带进行树木维护工程，为确保作业安全，届时该地区部分路段将关闭单向道。施工时段为上午9时至12时30分，以及下午2时至4时30分，涉及路段包括峇都丁宜Mar Vista公寓至Mahligai Baiduri公寓一带。
